Busy and buzzy neighbourhood restaurant that attracts the crowds from much further afield than the well heeled denizens of Howth. Always full, good fun and very good food.This upstairs restaurant looking over the harbour in Howth is a real local success story. It is always full and can be difficult to get into at the weekends, but it's definately worth a try. The food is unfussy and has an international flavour, with of course lots of pastas, but with a large seleection of salads and stir-fries.
One of the things that keep this palce so busy is the likelihood of spotting the same people there more than once a week, a position most restaurants would kill for. The staff are young and enthuastic and service pretty much flies along. Owner John Aungier has perfected a winning formula, and more of his vision can be found in The Oar House, just across the raod.
